São Sebastião do Passé tem nova unidade de saúde e Caps

Uma nova Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS), inaugurada pelo governador Rui Costa nesta segunda-feira (2), eleva a cobertura da atenção básica no município de São Sebastião do Passé, na Região Metropolitana de Salvador. Na ocasião, Rui também entregou um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial (Caps) e 330 cadastros ambientais rurais. Os novos equipamentos de saúde foram entregues pela Secretaria de Saúde do Estado (Sesab) e vão beneficiar cerca de 40 mil baianos.

“A melhor política pública de saúde que existe é a prevenção, com o diagnóstico precoce, para manter a pessoa saudável. Os hospitais estão cheios de pessoas sendo atendidas porque elas não passam pelos postos de saúde para fazer a prevenção. Por isso nós estamos inaugurando aqui hoje duas unidades de saúde”, afirmou o governador Rui Costa.

Com investimento aproximado de R$ 1,8 milhão, a nova UBS mantém duas equipes de saúde da família, oferecendo serviços odontológicos, vacinas, farmácia básica, planejamento familiar e pré-natal.

A aposentada Maria Teixeira tem 72 anos e mora ao lado da nova unidade básica de saúde. “Agora eu tenho atendimento bem pertinho da minha casa e ficou bem melhor para mim. Como eu já tenho mais idade, para mim ficava difícil me deslocar para o outro posto, que é longe. Com isso eu vejo que existe um trabalho sendo feito na nossa cidade, que precisa tanto.”

Caps

O Caps contou com um investimento de cerca de R$ 2,2 milhões. A unidade de saúde mental é especializada no tratamento e reinserção social de pessoas com transtornos graves e persistentes e é constituído por uma equipe multiprofissional, atendendo pessoas de todas as idades. “É preciso entender que as pessoas com distúrbios psiquiátricos precisam ter um acompanhamento periódico, regular, e esse acompanhamento é feito aqui no Caps”, acrescentou o governador Rui Costa.

Cadastro Ambiental Rural

Sobre o Cadastro Ambiental Rural, Rui Costa explicou que o documento, atendendo a uma lei federal, é necessário para que todo empreendimento rural possa contratar com bancos e órgãos públicos. “Nós já investimos mais de 50 milhões de reais e já foram emitidos mais de 500 mil certificados. O governo tem que dar condições para as pessoas sustentarem suas famílias com seu trabalho”.
